Jobs.com.au

Ever considered working overseas? It's a big decision to up and move half way across the world and take on a job in a strange country where you don't know anyone.

But if you are open to working in Australia (even temporarily) then you should definitely check out Jobs.com.au. They have an extensive list of resources to help you gather all the information you'll need.

Some of the things you'll find include:

Jobs listed in categories including accounting, IT, sales, manufacturing, and more.

A salary calculator so you can figure out how much you can make.

Resume services and consulting.

Real-time employment news so you can stay on top of the market.

Links to training courses and recruitment agencies.

The Mets Get Johan! (officially)

Just gotta shout out a bit to the Mets and give them credit for pulling off a monster of a trade. They managed to turn 4 young players into perhaps the best pitcher in baseball, Johan Santana.

I love this trade for so many reasons:

1. The Mets have a true ace who can dominate in the playoffs.

2. Santana is still in the prime of his career and they'll have him for 7 years.

3. If he's dominant in the AL, just imagine how good he'll be in the weaker NL.

4. They gave up almost nothing for him. The prospects may turn out to be solid players, but I'll take a Cy Young winner over "potential" any day!
