Support for Toys for Tots
I was in Babies'R'Us last night picking up a few things for my kids, and next to the register there was a large collection bin for the Toys for Tots program. If you have never heard of it, Toys for Tots gives toys to needy children during the holidays.
The bin in this particular store was shamefully empty. So I dug a bit deeper into my wallet and bought a few things to donate, including a stuffed tiger and some infant toys.
Please consider doing the same, either at a local store or through their website at http://www.toysfortots.org. Just imagine a poor child waking up Christmas Day and not having any presents to open. Picture the look on that little girl or boys face. Doesn't it break your heart?
As a dad, I have a soft spot in my heart for kids. And I know that it really doesn't take much to make them happy. Even an inexpensive stuffed animal or coloring book can seem like the world to children.

What a sweet thought. We should all think of those less fortunate at this time of year. I think I'll go make a donation right now. :)
