Is GAP Insurance Necessary?

The minute you roll your new car off the dealership lot, it loses a whole lot of value. If you get that new car into an accident the difference between what you owe and what the car is worth could be several thousand dollars!

GAP (Guaranteed Asset Protection) makes up the difference in case the car is totaled or stolen. Gap Insurance usually only costs a few bucks a month, and only a fool would buy a new car without it.
